David Dimberio - President & Director of Business Development

Born and raised in Fort Wayne, Indiana, Mr. Dimberio did his undergraduate studies at the University of Notre Dame and did business graduate work at Butler University, the University of Massachusetts, & the University of Texas. 

The first twenty years of Mr. Dimberio's career were spent working with fortune 500 medical companies - most notably implantable medical device companies where he has held various roles in sales & sales leadership.  Mr. Dimberio has worked for Novartis Pharmaceuticals, C. R. Bard Technologies, Medtronic, St. Jude Medical, & Abbott Laboratories.

For the past 15 years Mr. Dimberio has been involved with smaller startup companies of which he has gained valuable experience in branding and maximizing profit and ROI.  He enjoys now working with smaller organizations as he recognizes the ability to be nimble in today's market as a very valuable asset.  Mr. Dimberio has been involved with many small organizations, both in leadership and ownership, and currently would title himself as a “Serial Entrepreneur & Business Developer.”

In his free time, David loves spending time with his wife, Cindy, and 2 children Donny and Laura and his dog, Dewey.  He is a devout Catholic, follower of Notre Dame football, and an avid golfer.

Dr. Mark S. Putt - Director of Research & Development

B.S. in Chemistry, M.S.D. in Preventive

Dentistry and Ph.D. in Odontology (Cariology)

Dr. Putt’s professional experience encompasses several decades of dental research and dental product development and testing in both academic (Indiana University School of Dentistry and Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne) and business (University Park Research Center) settings. He has conducted extensive in vitro and in vivo studies as well as human clinical trials with the oral health care product industry throughout the world. He has evaluated various chemotherapeutic agents, antimicrobials, surfactants, and sweeteners in a wide assortment of formulations and treatment modalities including dentifrices, mouthrinses, comestibles, chewing gums, manual and electric toothbrushes, dental floss and floss holders, delivery trays, and prophylaxis pastes and cups.

He has served as the Principal Investigator directing over 250 human clinical trials that have used a variety of study designs to examine treatment effects, safety, release rates, oral clearance and organoleptic properties. Investigations have involved dental plaque, calculus, gingivitis, gingival recession, periodontitis, dental caries, demineralization/remineralization, enamel polish, tooth abrasion/erosion, extrinsic/intrinsic stain, tooth whitening, and oral microbiology.

His publications include nearly 60 scientific articles in peer-reviewed dental journals, 11 U.S. Patents, and more than 100 presentations at dental research meetings and conferences.

His other professional activities include serving as a consultant for various oral care product companies and as a reviewer and editorial board member of several dental science journals.
